Facing the task of painting a large number of titans in a fairly short space of time, I brewed this recipe for use on my titans using mostly contrast paints over a metal coloured basecoat to achieve a quick, effective finish. You could easily adapt the contrast colours used to achieve a metallic finish for a variety of other colours. Inks carefully applied can achieve a similar result properly thinned. Using washes as a substitute for the armour panels tends to leave a very matt finish which is hard to add any more depth too so I would not recommend them.

1. Undercoat over Black Primer Leadbelcher
2. Wash whole model with Nuln Oil
3. Drybrush Silver Most of your highlights will come from this stage, make sure to heavily build up the colour in areas you want to be lighter on the finished model.
4. Pick out 1/2 armour panels with Akhelian Green
5. Pick out remaining armour panels with Akhelian Green mixed with Dark Angels Green
   You will need to allow each layer to dry before applying a fresh one, else you risk removing previous layers of contrast.
6. Any Copper Details: Wyldwood
7. Muted Gold details Snakebite Leather
8. Cable can be picked out in colours of your choice.
9. Carry out touch-ups where required.
10. Heat Diffusion on barrels is achieved by: first washing tips of barrels with Asmuren Blue wash and then a second coat of Skeleton Horde behind the blue area.
11. Pick out plasma glows in preferred colour, I recommend starting with your lightest colour as a base and then glazing in your shading for the coils, leaving the centre portion brightest to demonstrate the power being concentrated.
12. Use Typhus Corrosion to create weathering streaks on the panel. Remember to start at top of the panels and work downwards, pooling the paint in the sections where water is likely to naturally congregate and sit.
