- Paint armour chassis Abaddon Black
- Paint armour points Corax White
- Paint and armour details desired with Dawnstone
- Recess shade white and grey armour parts with slightly thinned Gorthor Brown this prevents wash muddling the white armour
- Tidy up any basecoats where needed before proceeding.
- 2 stage highlight the grey panels starting with a thick highlight of Administratum Grey followed by a thin edge highlight of Ulthuan Grey
- 2 stage highlight the black chassis starting with a thick highlight of Eshin Grey followed by a fine edge highlight with Dawnstone . Can also add a small dot of Ulthuan Grey to any sharp corners to show light glinting off the armour.
- Use a thin glaze of Baneblade Brown and Lahmian Medium on the white armour panels to create a patina of dust. Build up glaze to desired shade. You can correct any glazing using a corax white glaze.
- Edge light the white armour using a chipping/scratching effect with Gorthor Brown . Less is more.
- Red components base with Mephiston Red , thick highlight with Evil Sunz Scarlet , fine edge highlight with Troll Slayer Orange
- Lenses base with Stegadon Scale Green , paint t the bottom right third with thinned Temple Guard Blue , edge highlight entire lense with Blue Horror . Finish with a small dot top left and thin line on bottome right edge with Ulthuan Grey to create a light source effect.
- Metal components base with Runelord Brass , wash with Reikland Fleshshade and edge highlight with Canoptek Alloy
- Shield glow effect start with thick edge highlight around glow source with thinned Temple Guard Blue , fine edge highlight Baharroth Blue and recess the glow origin with a white ink(I use Liquitex). Wash a thin 50/50 mix of Blue Horror and Ulthuan Grey over the white ink, but no the highlights.
