Sand
- Basecoat whole base with Mechanicus Standard Grey
- Wash with Nuln Oil
- Drybrush heavily with Dawnstone
- Drybrush with Administratum Grey
Rock and ruins
- Basecoat with Administratum Grey
- Wash with Nuln Oil
Finishing touches
- Add small selective washes of Agrax Earthshade and Athonian Camoshade around the rubble
- Add tufts and dead grass
- Optional drybrush Grey Seer
