Primer: Chaos Black

Teal armour

  1. Generously drybrush Incubi Darkness , almost basecoating
  2. Drybrush Kabalite Green for highlights
  3. Drybrush again on top-facing edges and illuminated areas with Sybarite Green for a second round of highlights
  4. Apply Nuln Oil only to deepest recesses and selected areas to reinforce the shadows and bring back some definition
  5. Edge highlight with Gauss Blaster Green only on the very most illuminated edges and only around areas of focus (e.g., the face)

White shoulder pads and rope

  1. Stipple Wraithbone in one or two passes
  2. Shade with Nuln Oil
  3. Stipple Wraithbone again on the topmost areas
  4. Stipple White Scar on a smaller area where the most light hits

Bronze details

  1. Basecoat with Balthasar Gold
  2. Shade with Agrax Earthshade
  3. Edge highlight with Gehenna's Gold

Silver details

  1. Basecoat with Leadbelcher
  2. Shade with Nuln Oil
  3. Edge highlight with Runefang Steel

Black details (incl. weapon casings)

  1. Basecoat with Abaddon Black (optional)
  2. Drybrush or edge highlight Eshin Grey
  3. Edge highlight Dawnstone on the topmost edges

Dark brown leather (pouches)

  1. Basecoat with Rhinox Hide
  2. Edge highlight with Gorthor Brown

Light brown leather (staff)

  1. Basecoat with Doombull Brown
  2. Shade wtih Agrax Earthshade
  3. Edge highlight with Gorthor Brown

Grey fabrics

  1. Layer Eshin Grey
  2. Layer Dawnstone
  3. Shade with Nuln Oil (optional)
  4. Edge highlight with Grey Seer

Ashen skin

  1. Basecoat with Grey Seer
  2. Shade with Mortarion Grime
  3. Edge highlight with Grey Seer

Skulls and bones

  1. Basecoat with Screaming Skull
  2. Shade with Nuln Oil
  3. Edge highlight with Wraithbone

Radioactive glow

  1. Layer White Scar at the center of the glow
  2. Pass Tesseract Glow over the white
  3. Place and blend some Warp Lightning around the bright green, where the glow fades
  4. If the glowing part is a vial, glass, or pipe, finish with a layer of Ardcoat

Green smoke

  1. Basecoat with Incubi Darkness
  2. Layer some slightly thinned Warpstone Glow in the deepest parts of the smoke, between the plumes
  3. Layer thinned Moot Green at the center of the area covered previously in green, pushing towards the origin of the smoke
  4. Layer some Dorn Yellow over a very small portion of what covered in the previous step, just around the origin point(s) of the smoke
  5. Layer Dawnstone on the smoke plumes
  6. Edge highlight the smoke plumes with Grey Seer

Grey wasteland base

  1. Create texture and base color with a layer of Astrogranite (or basecoat with Eshin Grey if you use a different texture paint or have primed over it)
  2. Wash with Nuln Oil
  3. Drybrush Dawnstone
  4. Drybrush Grey Seer
  5. Add some black, brown, teal, or fluorescent green tufts
