Blood Angels are my favourite chapter, I opted for the successor chapter 'Angels Sanguine' I wanted to test my painting level after finishing a test model, I am now full steam ahead & in love with this scheme! The photo is of the test model.

1. Undercoat the model with Chaos Black

1. Basecoat with Mephiston Red
2. Shade with Cygor Brown
3. Edge Highlight with Evil Sunz Scarlet
4. Second Edge Highlight with Wild Rider Red - I will only be doing the second edge highlight on Character models
5. Spot Highlight with Fire Dragon Bright

Black Armour

1. Basecoat with Abaddon Black
2. Edge Highlight with Dark Reaper
3. Second Edge Highlight with Thunderhawk Blue - I will only be doing the second edge highlight on Character models
4. Spot Highlight with Fenrisian Grey

Under-suit

1. Basecoat between the armour with Abaddon Black
2. Edge Highlight with Dawnstone

Gold Aquilas/Details

1. Basecoat with Retributor Armour
2. Shade with Reikland Fleshshade
3. Edge Highlight with Auric Armour Gold
4. Metals
5. Basecoat with Leadbelcher
6. Wash with Nuln Oil
7. Edge Highlight with Stormhost Silver

Weapon

1. Basecoat the areas you wish to be metal with Leadbelcher
2. Basecoat the gun casing with Abaddon Black
3. Wash the metal areas with Nuln Oil
4. Edge Highlight the metal areas with Stormhost Silver
5. Edge Highlight the gun casing with Eshin Grey
6. Spot Highlight on the gun casing with Dawnstone (Optional)

Eyes

1. Basecoat the eye lens with Ulthuan Grey
2. Apply Waywatcher Green to the eye lenses

Basing

1. Apply Astrogranite to the base
2. Drybrush the base with Rakarth Flesh
3. Drybrush the base with Deepkin Flesh
4. Paint the rim of the base with Eshin Grey
