- Base Coat Averland Sunset Yriel Yellow First Layer is a 1:1 mix of Averland Sunset and Yriel Yellow.
- 1st Shade Averland Sunset Start to shade down with thinned Averland Sunset.
- 2nd Shade Averland Sunset Skrag Brown Deepen shade by using Averland Sunset/Skrag Brown 2:1
- 3rd Shade Skrag Brown Very darkest shade pure Skrag Brown
- 1st Panel Lining Guilliman Flesh First pass on panel lining with Guilliman Flesh. A little Contrast or Lahmian medium helps it flow into recesses. May need to repeat this step to get the desired depth.
- 2nd Panel Lining Gore-grunta Fur Very deepest panel lines are targeted with Gor Grunts Fur - Again use medium to assist.
- Tidy Up Averland Sunset Yriel Yellow Now is the time to smooth out the blends of your shading and tidy up any over painting from panel lining etc. Use the base coat from step 1 - 1:1 mix of Averland Sunset/Yriel Yellow
- 1st Highlight Yriel Yellow Thinned down glazes of Yriel Yellow. Paint towards the lightest points
- Edge Highlight Dorn Yellow
