1. Prime your model with your chosen colour, for my army I use Wraithbone .
2. Paint the bottom half of the gun, the exposed barrel, casing emblem and any other chosen details with Leadbelcher .
3. Carefully pick out any recesses using Agrax Earthshade .
4. Finish the basecoating by painting the gun casing and any other select details with Abaddon Black .
5. Edge highlight the black gun casing using Eshin Grey .
6. Highlight over the Eshin Grey with Thunderhawk Blue .
7. Pick out the upward facing and most exposed edges with a 1:1 mixture of Thunderhawk Blue & Administratum Grey .
8. Finally you can highlight any Leadbelcher sections using Stormhost Silver .

Optional Detailing:

1. At this point I like to hone in and bring out some of the more fine details of the model such as individual bolts etc. If these details are on the black casing I use Leadbelcher , if on the gunmetal I use Balthasar Gold .
2. When highlighting the Leadbelcher I also like to pick out any edges of wear and tear using a very thin line of the Stormhost Silver over the top of your edge highlights, be selective here, think areas of contact.
