In this recipe I'll explain how I found a decent way to create highlights for beginners without needing a steady hand

Base

1. Abaddon Black

Cheating highlights for beginners

Follow up with a spray can of Wraithbone directly from the top of the model or any angle of your desired highlight

1. Warp Lightning

Any contrast or speed paints will work for this step because they are made thin enough to let the wraithbone show through the color without covering anything up making it look like the sun is shining down on it

Adding details

1. Abaddon Black for the shoulder pads

You can change the accents from Warp Lightning to Balthasar Gold if you please

1. Add Balthasar Gold to the angels of death chest design

Any cloaks or ropes on the unit I like to use Mephiston Red

Their weapons can be any color you want but for weapons like powerswords I like to dry brush Bright Orange onto the sword for a molten rock look
