- Rust Brown Burnt Orange Basecoat the entire brick area in Rust Brown or Burnt Orange.

- Blackened Brown Brown Liner Apply shadows between bricks using a wash made from Blackened Brown or Brown Liner—thin it down well and let it settle into cracks.
- Weathered Stone Misty Grey Paint the mortar lines carefully with a light grey or stone color—this makes the bricks stand out. Use Weathered Stone or Mist Grey with a fine brush.
- Highlight Orange Tanned Highlight Edge highlight with Highlight Orange or even a touch of Tanned Highlight for brighter weathered edges.
- Red Shadow Weathering – stipple on Red Shadow, Dusty Rose (09030), or even a bit of green/grey to show moss or wear.
