This is a general collection of hair colour recipes for any gaming system. I will endevour to update it with new colours as I find what works for me.

Black Hair (Blue Tone)

1. Basecoat with Abaddon Black .
2. Pick out hair strands with a 1:1 mix of Abaddon Black and Kantor Blue .
3. Mix some Kabalite Green into the previous mix and selectively highlight curved edges.
4. Now mix in some Fenrisian Grey and pick out an even smaller area.
5. Finally, use pure Fenrisian Grey to very selectinly highlight curved edges where the light would hit.

Black Hair (Warm Tone)

1. Basecoat with Abaddon Black .
2. Pick out hair strands with a Rhinox Hide .
3. With Dryad Bark , selectively highlight curved edges.
4. Now mix in some Wraithbone and pick out an even smaller area.
5. Increase the amount of Wraithbone in your mix and very selectinly highlight curved edges where the light would hit.

Brown Hair

1. Basecoat with Mournfang Brown .
2. Wash with Agrax Earthshade .
3. Mix Lugganath Orange into the Mournfang Brown 1:3 and pick out strands of hair.
4. Increase the amount of Lugganath Orange in the Mournfang Brown to about 1:2 apply smaller highlights within the last stage. I find it effective to start to create a "halo" of highlights around the top of the head.
5. Finally, make an equal part mix of Lugganath Orange and Mournfang Brown , make these highlights very small and use this colour sparingly.

Dark Brown Hair

1. Basecoat with Rhinox Hide .
2. Mix Rhinox Hide with Gorthor Brown 1:1 and pick out strands of hair.
3. With Gorthor Brown , selectively highlight curved edges.
4. Now mix in some Wraithbone and pick out an even smaller area.
5. Increase the amount of Wraithbone in your mix and very selectinly highlight curved edges where the light would hit.

Blonde Hair

1. Basecoat with XV-88 .
2. Wash with Agrax Earthshade .
3. Mix some Ice Yellow into your XV-88 (about 1:2) and highlights strands of hair.
4. Increase the amount of Ice Yellow to about 2:1 and selectively highlight curves and points where light would hit.
5. Add selective specular highlights of Ice Yellow where needed.

Orange Hair

1. Basecoat with a 4:1 of Troll Slayer Orange & Squig Orange .
2. Add some Khorne Red into your base mix, water it down and shade the sculted recesses in the hair.
3. Where is it darticuarly deep, mix a little Abaddon Black in and shade selectively.
4. Pic out the strands of hair as neatly as you can, with a thin line of Fire Dragon Bright .
5. Mix the Fire Dragon Bright 1:1 with Flash Gitz Yellow and paint a halo of light around the top of her head and on any prominent curls. Keep these highlights within the last stages highlights.
6. Mix in some White Scar into the above mix and highlight an even smaller area.

Grey Hair

1. Basecoat with Dawnstone .
2. With thin Skavenblight Dinge , shade the sculted recesses in the hair.
3. Mix Dawnstone with Administratum Grey 1:1 and pick out strands of hair.
4. With Administratum Grey , selectively highlight curved edges.
5. Now mix in some Wraithbone and pick out an even smaller area.
6. With pure Wraithbone very selectinly highlight curved edges where the light would hit.

White Hair

1. Basecoat with Corax White .
2. Go over the hair with a layer of Apothecary White .
3. Darken any deeper recesses with a thin line of wattered down Skavenblight Dinge .
4. Lighted some strands with a pure white, like White Scar , where needed.
