Prime

1. Prime with a black primer. I used Vallejo Surface Primer Black - Any black spray will do.

Skin

Lets do the skin first as it will involved some dry brushing.

1. Undercoat the skin with Catachan Fleshtone
2. Wash all the skin with Reikland Fleshshade pushing into recesses.
3. Medium dry brush with Bloodreaver Flesh . Most of your brush strokes should be from above and aim for where the light would naturally fall.
4. Lightly drybrush Knight-questor Flesh using the same method above. Be a fiar bit lighter this time though.

We will return to the skin later.

Base Coats

1. Use Black Leather for all the straps (chest and wrists)
2. Base the material with Mephiston Red
3. Paint all hard leather armour with Mournfang Brown These are on the legs, wrists and under the metal armour on the right shoulder.
4. Paint all the fur Rhinox Hide This is mostly on the left arm, and on the top of the boots.
5. Base the boots in Corvus Black
6. Undercoat the skulls with Morghast Bone
7. Paint the underside of the cloth/metrial with a 50:50 mix of Mephiston Red and Celestra Grey
8. Paint the axe handle and the rear pouch with Steel Legion Drab and the axe handle with Dryad Bark
9. Base the axe head, monster thing on belt, any buckles and the four rings on the material with Leadbelcher
10. Balthasar Gold for the shoulder armour, belt and the potion on the belt.
11. Paint his beard with a 50:50 mix of Abaddon Black and Rhinox Hide
12. The last items are Zandri Dust for the belt material and Corax White for the hanging run on the belt.

Wash

1. Wash all of the model, exept the skin and the bones we painted with Morghast Bone earlier, with Agrax Earthshade
