How to paint shields of Gloomspite Gitz Grots with a red background, rusty metal rim and yellow bad moon icon.

1. Base coat back of shield in Burnt Red
2. Paint rim of shield and moon icon with Dark Flesh
3. Stipple Dark Silver on shield rim for a rusty look
4. Stipple Bold Pyrrole Red over the larger areas of the shield back
5. Paint Golden Brown on the majority of the moon icon. Be careful on some shields with leaving some areas with Dark Flesh still showing which will create a panel lining effect later on
6. Stipple Warm Flesh over previous step, leaving the edges still Golden Brown to create a colour variation
7. Very slightly dilute Transparent Yellow with a damp brush and glaze over the icon to turn it yellow
