- Build you base with cork, leaving some of the top of base exposed
- Undercoast with Matt Black
- Cover the expsoded base top (not the cork) in Pure Red
- When it's covered ad another layer of Pure Red , but while it's red add in some Flickering Flame
- Again, before that drys add in some Daemonic Yellow int he orange
- Do some mild blending of the three colours. You want it to look like patches of yellow that ransastion to the red
- Once dry, cover the lava in a thin layer of PVA glue
- Cover the lava in Mordant Earth
- Once dry, cover the cork in AK Volcanic Earth. Drag some of it into the lava to make a transastion
- Dry brush the volcanic earth and Morodant Earth with Dark Reaper , then Russ Grey and finally Fenrisian Grey
