Flesh

  1. Apply a base coat to the flesh with a 1:1 mix of Slaanesh Grey and Rakarth Flesh thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  2. Lightly apply a zenithal dry brush with a 1:1 mix of Slaanesh Grey and Pallid Wych Flesh being sure to focus on the upper surface
  3. With a stippling motion, apply mottling effects to the skin with Coelia Greenshade and then with Carroburg Crimson both thinned 1:2 with Lahmian Medium
  4. Apply a filter wash with Dreadful Visage thinned 1:2 with Contrast Medium being sure to wick away any pooling with a clean brush/sponge
  5. Colour the flesh joints/ridges with a 1:1 mix of Khorne Red and Incubi Darkness thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium

Hooves

  1. Apply a base coat to the hooves with Tenebrous Grey thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  2. Shade the hooves with Nuln Oil thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  3. Apply highlights to the hooves with a 2:1 mix of Tenebrous Grey and Slaanesh Grey thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  4. Apply final highlights to the hooves' sharpest edges with Slaanesh Grey

Carapace

  1. Apply a base coat to the carapace with a 1:1 mix of Abaddon Black and Naggaroth Night thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  2. Glaze the Chitin plate recesses with Black Templar thinned 1:1 with Contrast Medium and feather the edges with a clean brush to create a clean gradient effect
  3. Focusing on the more raised areas, apply highlights to Chitin plates with Naggaroth Night thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium building up the lighter tone gradually
  4. Apply long feathering strokes to the Chitin Plates with a 1:1 mix of Naggaroth Night and Dark Reaper thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  5. Apply medium feathering strokes to the Chitin Plates with Dark Reaper thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  6. Apply short feathering strokes to the Chitin Plates with Thunderhawk Blue thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  7. Apply selective and sharp edge highlights to the Chitin Plates with Fenrisian Grey thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium
  8. Shade the Carapace with Druchii Violet thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium to create depth and saturation
  9. Revive knocked back edge highlights with Fenrisian Grey thinned 1:1 with Lahmian Medium selectively focusing only on those sharpest edges
