Painting the Base

1. Use Slate Chips along with AK Lunar Desert to fill the base.
2. Prime the base with Matte Black Spray Paint.
3. Dry brush with Deep Grey , Uniform Grey and Ash Grey .

Base Coating the Model

1. Apply a base coat of Dark Warm Grey to the GREATCOAT and PUTTEES.
2. Apply a base coat of Black to the TROUSERS.
3. Apply a base coat of English Uniform to the GAS MASK.
4. Apply a base coat of Khaki to the BEDROLL.
5. Apply a base coat of German Grey to the BOOTS, GLOVES, WEBBING, BELT and BACKPACK.
6. Apply a base coat of Dark Grey to the GAS MASK HOOD and GAS MASK HOSE.
7. Apply a base coat of Natural Steel to the HELMET, SHOULDER ARMOUR, GLOVE ARMOUR, GAS MASK LENS, GAS MASK FRAME, BELT BUCKLE, RESPIRATOR, CLASPS, GREATCOAT BUTTONS and MISC. METAL.
8. Apply a base coat of Bronze to the HELMET AQUILA, BELT BUCKLE AQUILA and BACKPACK TUBE AQUILA.
9. Apply a base coat of White Grey to the RESPIRATOR DIAL BACKING.
10. Apply a base coat of Scarlet to the RESPIRATOR DIAL.
11. Apply a base coat of Grim Black to the HELMET, SHOULDER ARMOUR and GLOVE ARMOUR.
