Prime

  1. Prime with Death Guard Green

Metallics

  1. Use Leadbelcher to paint all the metallic areas. Wash with Nuln Oil Once dry give a heavy coat of Typhus Corrosion , follow up with a drybrush of Ryza Rust
  2. Use Balthasar Gold for all the Gold/Bronze areas. Wash with Agrax Earthshade
  3. Drybrush ALL mettalics with Necron Compound , and Nihilakh Oxide to add points of interest to corrosion.

Armour

  1. Paint the flat areas with Rakarth Flesh and clean up and trim/filigree with Death Guard Green . Wash all areas with Athonian Camoshade .
  2. Go back over the White areas with Rakarth Flesh leaving the wash in the recesses. Highlight with Pallid Wych Flesh . Highlight the Green trim with Ogryn Camo
  3. Use Agrax Earthshade and pick out all rivets. And use Typhus Corrosion to add leaky oil marks to gouges and holes in the armour

Pipes

  1. Base with Corax White , then wash with Athonian Camoshade , wash any ribbed areas with Carroburg Crimson .

Cloth

  1. For basic troops, Death Guard Green base, wash with Athonian Camoshade and layer back up with Death Guard Green leaving recesses. Highlight with Ogryn Camo
  2. For Elites and HQ: Base with Screamer Pink , wash with Agrax Earthshade , layer back up with Screamer Pink and highlight with Pink Horror , do a highlight at the points with Emperor's Children .

Horns

  1. Base with Zandri Dust , wash with Seraphim Sepia , once dry wash again with Seraphim Sepia but 2/3rds up the horn, then 1/2 way up the horn, then 1/3rd up the horn, making it progressively darker the closer to the tip. Use Agrax Earthshade on the tip, and highlight any raised areas near the base with Karak Stone

Daemonic Skin

  1. Base with Corax White , and wash three times with Athonian Camoshade allowing the wash to dry between. Catch any areas of boils with Carroburg Crimson . Highlight the green areas with Nurgling Green .

Affects

  1. Add big blobs of Nurgles Rot into any exposed guts, or daemonic areas. Stipple in Blood For The Blood God into these areas to add to the affect. Also use Blood For The Blood God on any wielded hand weapons.
