How I painted my beagle tracker for my Burrows & Badgers warband

  1. Prime black.

Fur

  1. Brown fur: Leather Brown , wash with Nuln Oil , highlight with Leather Brown
  2. White fur: Bleached Linen , wash with Nuln Oil , highlight with Bleached Linen
  3. Black fur: make glaze with Pure Black , apply over brown fur.
  4. Nose: Pure Black

Clothing

  1. Backpack, leather strap for shoulder armor, strap on bedroll, belts on chest: Dark Highlights , shade with Agrax Earthshade , high light with original color, and mix of Dark Highlights and Woodland Brown for lighter highlights
  2. Bedroll: Under paint with your choice of white ( Bleached Linen ), paint with Dark Purple , highlight with Purple and Dark Purple mix
  3. Tunic: Basecoat in Monument Black Green, highlight, covering most of the tunic with Camo Green , highlight with a combination of Camo Green and Golden Yellow , using increasingly more Golden Yellow for brighter highlights. Shade recesses with Nuln Oil
  4. Axe: Paint handle with Woodland Brown , shade with Agrax Earthshade , drybursh with Woodland Brown and then Leather Brown , paint blade with Steel Metallic
  5. Metal armor: paint with Steel Metallic
