  1. Prime Steelforge Silver
  2. Coat the entire model in a layer of Aethermatic Blue , thinned with a few drops of Daler-Rowney Flow Enhancer. Allow some pooling but nothing egregious.
  3. Drybrush the entire mini, focusing on the top/light-hitting parts with Heavy Metal
  4. Do a more refined drybrush highlight with Emerald Alchemy
  5. Do an extreme highlight with White Metal (mine's called White Alchemy - maybe they renamed it?)
  6. Colour in the eyes with Evil Sunz Scarlet
  7. Paint the 'wing' membranes, mouth, 'cheeks', and underside with Ulthuan Grey
  8. Use a 1:1 mix of Aethermatic Blue and Contrast Medium to gradually darken the limbs and select scales. Do a quick White Metal highlight if needed after.
  9. Paint the claws, teeth, inner-mouth and irises with Black Legion
  10. Tint the wing membranes with Seraphim Sepia and the cheek membranes with Carroburg Crimson
  11. I covered the base with Vallejo Diorama Dark Earth, then sprinkled Rival Crafts Woodlands over it. When dry, I sealed with a mixture of water and mod podge.
