A really easy paint job that is great for beginners and mass production!

-The last three stages are optional
-Use any paint you want, this is just a rough guide. If you can’t decide there are some ideas for Revell paints to use instead
-Feel free to do the highlights before the washes for a slightly more uniform look, this is what I did
-Feel free to post a slightly edited version of this recipe as long as you mention that this is the original

Priming:

1. Prime with Mechanicus Standard Grey

Base coats:

1. Paint the trench coat and arms with The Fang
2. Paint the gas mask, boot straps and certain details on the backpack in Karak Stone
3. Paint the boots in a dark brown like Rhinox Hide
4. Paint leather details on the backpack and gas mask box as well as straps in a medium brown, e.g Mournfang Brown
5. Paint the rifle, gloves and respirator pipe fully in Abaddon Black
6. Use Iron Hands Steel to paint the helmet, shoulder pads and various coils on the rifle
7. Paint any symbols in Balthasar Gold

Washes (optional)

1. Wash the whole miniatures except the metallic areas and rifle in a layer of Agrax Earthshade
2. Let it dry for a while due to the large amount of wash used
3. Wash all metallic sections and the rifle in Nuln Oil to get that dark metallic colour

Highlights (Optional)

1. Use Wraithbone to highlight areas painted in Karak Stone
2. Use Russ Grey to highlight parts painted in Mechanicus standard grey
3. Use Fenrisian Grey to highlight areas painted in The Fang
4. Use Mournfang Brown to add highlights to the boots
5. Add highlights to your leather with a light brown, e.g. Snakebite Leather or Skrag Brown

Extra Details (optional)

1. Paint the eyes in Khorne Red
2. Add highlights with White Scar and Wild Rider Red
3. Use Khorne Red with highlights of Evil Sunz Scarlet to paint in pouches and any details like binocular lenses
