Easy, gritty templars armour + details

Power Armour

1. Prime with Chaos Black
2. Base coat with Eshin Grey - Use large base brush
3. Repeat last step one more time, or until solid coat
4. Drybrush edges with Dawnstone with a medium or large drybrush
5. Wash with Nuln Oil and medium shade brush
6. Prevent pooling of nuln oil
7. Repeat last two steps if too light - Need a dark coat
8. Directional drybrush with Celestra Grey with small drybrush - target outer edges and other light areas
9. Apply final wash of Nuln Oil with a medium shade brush
10. Apply two thin coats of Ulthuan Grey to shoulder pad panels OR vallejo white grey

Boltgun

1. Base metal areas with Leadbelcher OR vallejo gunmetal
2. Base casing with Mephiston Red
3. Wash metal with Nuln Oil
4. Wash casing with Carroburg Crimson

Misc

1. Thin coat of Leadbelcher Retributor Armour for chest details
2. Combat blades base with Leadbelcher
3. Base head with 50/50 water and Bugman's Glow
4. Thin coat of Mournfang Brown for hair
5. Apply Reikland Fleshshade to skin of head
6. Rhinox Hide base for ammo pouches
7. Khorne Red for purity seal wax
8. Ushabti Bone for purity seal paper
9. Wash paper with Agrax Earthshade
10. Paint eyes with Khorne Red
11. Stormhost Silver for special armour details, alternative is Retributor Armour
12. Paint cloaks with Ulthuan Grey
13. Apply Apothecary White selectively to bring out depth

Basing

1. Base with thick Stirland Mud
2. Drybrush with Tyrant Skull
3. Wash with Agrax Earthshade
