- Prime black and drybrush zenithal highlight with Bold Titanium White .
- Skin: Basecoat with Transparent Purple . Begin highlights by glazing Purple mixed with Glaze Medium . Make shadows on upper parts of skin not so dark with mixes of Purple and Dark Purple with Glaze Medium . Continue highlights by glazing Purple mixed with Magenta and some final highlights with Magenta .
- Hair: Basecoat with Transparent Orange , fill in too dark spots left over from drybrush with thinned Orange , highlight with mixes of Orange and Golden Yellow , adding more Golden Yellow for brighter highlights. Final highlight with pure Golden Yellow .
- Cloth: Basecoat with Yellow Green . Shade recesses with Agrax Earthshade . Highlight with original color and then with a mix of Yellow Green and Ivory .
- Sword and belt: Basecoat with Steel Metallic . Layer on Nuln Oil , Agrax Earthshade , and Seraphim Sepia to creat weathered rusty look. Highlight with original metallic focusing on edges and adding scratches and more irregularity.
- Claws/hoofs: Basecoat with Ivory shade with Seraphim Sepia and Agrax Earthshade . Highlight with Ivory and take down if necessary with Seraphim Sepia .
- Snout: Paint with Dark Purple and mix that with Pale Pink for highlights.
- Scars: Some highlights with Pale Pink filtered with thin Transparent Purple .
