- Prime Imperial Purple
- Drybrush Xereus Purple , then do a finer drybrush by mixing in a touch of Ice Yellow to the purple.
- Wash the mini with Druchii Violet
- Go over the wing membranes with Coelia Greenshade
- Paint the beaks. wing bonesand head fins with Tau Light Ochre , then wash this step with Casandora Yellow
- Stipple thinned Tau Light Ochre on the wings to create a pattern. Several coats, build it up.
- Within the above step, stipple heavily thinned Ice Yellow
- Tongue with Screamer Pink , inner mouth and eye recesses with Black Templar , Eyes with Fuchsia
- On bases I did Incubi Darkness with a loose drybrush of Sybarite Green ; the tree was just AK Rotbraun darkened with pigment powders.
- Gold was Necro Gold , washed with Guilliman Flesh , then highlighted with Dwarven Gold
