Colours I use when painting leather, on things like belts, pteregues, and pouches

  1. Base prime with Chaos Black or equivalent black
  2. Base coat all leather areas with Rhinox Hide
  3. Layer over with Mournfang Brown , making sure to leave the Rhinox Hide in the recesses to create contrast.
  4. Layer with Gorthor Brown , avoiding the Mournfang in the shadow areas.
  5. As an edge highlight, use Baneblade Brown over the raised edges of the leather, as well as scratching weathering on often rubbed areas.
