Recipes I used to paint Ossiarch bonereapers as a commission work.

Body bone

  1. Basecoat with a mix of 2 parts of Deck Tan , 2 parts of Smoke and 1 part of Yellow Green
  2. Wash with a mix of 1 part of Lahmian Medium and 1 part of Agrax Earthshade
  3. A glaze layer with 1 part of Deck Tan and 1 part of Lahmian Medium
  4. A layer with Deck Tan
  5. Layer with 1 part Medium Yellow and 3 parts of Deck Tan
  6. Glaze with Agrax Earthshade + Lahmian Medium
  7. Higlights with White Grey
  8. Final highlights with Cold White

Bone armor

  1. Basecoat with White Grey
  2. Wash with 1x Agrax Earthshade and 1x Lahmian Medium
  3. Layer with White Grey
  4. Highlight with Cold White
  5. Final glaze with 1x Agrax Earthshade and 4x Lahmian Medium

Black metal armor

  1. Basecoat with Black
  2. Layer with two coats of Dark Mediterranean Blue
  3. Shade with 1x Smoke + 1x Black +3x Lahmian Medium
  4. Wet blending with 1x Black + 1x Flat Blue
  5. Glaze with 1x Cold White + 1x Flat Blue
  6. Glaze with 1x Flat Blue + 2x Cold White
  7. Edge highlights with 3x Cold White +1x Flat Blue
  8. Final glaze with 1x Lahmian Medium + 1x Cold White +1x Flat Blue

Green clothes

  1. Basecoat with Black
  2. Layer with Goblin Green
  3. Shade with Transparent Blue
  4. Layer with 1x Goblin Green + 1x Lahmian Medium
  5. Edge highlights with 1x Deck Tan + 1x Goblin Green

Leather

  1. Basecoat with Red Leather
  2. Shade with 1x Smoke + 1x Lahmian Medium
  3. Layer with Red Leather
  4. Highlights with 1x Pink + 1x Red Leather
  5. Highlights with 1x Pink +1x Deck Tan
  6. Edge highlights with Deck Tan

Green metal blades

  1. Basecoat with Goblin Green
  2. Wet blend with 1x Flat Blue +1x Black + 1/2x Lahmian Medium as primary color and Goblin Green + 1/2x Lahmian Medium as secondary. The blend should start at dark blue going to green.
  3. Wet blend with 1x Goblin Green + 1x Lahmian Medium as primary color and 1x Verdigris Effect + 1/2x Lahmian Medium as secondary. The blend should start from green to verdigris.
  4. Edge highlights with Deck Tan
  5. Final edge highlights with White Grey

Eyes

  1. Basecoat with Goblin Green
  2. Glaze with 1x Lahmian Medium +1x Goblin Green . This glaze should be applied on eye socket's surroundings
  3. Layer with 1x Goblin Green +1x Cold White + 1x Yellow Fluorescent

Ghosts

This recipe was used in cases where the model had ghostly elements

  1. Basecoat with Cold White
  2. Layer with Verdigris Effect
  3. Layer with 1x Verdigris Effect + 1x Cold White
  4. Shade with 3x Lahmian Medium + 1x Verdigris Effect + 1x Olive Green
  5. Layer with1x Verdigris Effect +2x Cold White
  6. Layer with1x Verdigris Effect + 3x Cold White
  7. Highlights with Cold White

Base

  1. Basecoat with 1x Black + 1x Red Leather
  2. Very thick coat of Agrellan Earth
  3. Wash with Agrax Earthshade
  4. Drybrush with Deck Tan
  5. Base edge was painted with a mixed coat of 1x Black + 2x Medium Yellow + 1 Red Leather
