Prime

1. Prime the miniature using Chaos Black or Matt Black Undercoat

Helbrute Armor

1. Base coat the armor with thin layers of Word Bearers Red
2. Wash the armor with a Agrax Earthshade
3. Brighten the armor back up a bit using Word Bearers Red
4. Edge highlight with Mephiston Red

Helbrute Flesh

1. Paint the flesh with Rakarth Flesh
2. Wash all over with a mix of Carroburg Crimson and Contrast Medium
3. Go back and add more Carroburg Crimson , focusing on recesses.
4. Add a mix of Volupus Pink and Contrast Medium in deeper recesses.
5. Finish with Druchii Violet in the deepest recesses.
6. Highlight raised areas (veins/higher parts of muscles) with thinned down Rakarth Flesh
7. Use Pallid Wych Flesh on the highest points of the flesh.
8. Give an all over wash with Contrast Medium to equalize the finish.

Brass Details

1. Use Dark Star Molten Metals Royal Gold on brass pieces.
2. Wash over the brass parts with Agrax Earthshade
