Here are the steps I took when painting this playing piece from 'Wizkids' version of the board game "Relic". Black Power Armour

1. Basecoat with Abaddon Black .
2. Begin glazing general highlights with an equal parts mix of Dark Reaper , Kantor Blue & Abaddon Black .
3. Apply chunky highlights with Dark Reaper .
4. Now do fine highlights with 1:1 Dark Reaper and Deepkin Flesh .
5. Selectively highlight with Celestra Grey .
6. Add specular highlights with White .

Decorative White

1. Basecoat with 1:1 Celestra Grey and White .
2. Shade with some thin Dark Reaper & Celestra Grey , mixed 1:2.
3. Deep shade the recesses with thin lines of Dark Reaper .
4. Add highlights with White .

Gold Trim

1. Basecoat with Liberator Gold .
2. Shade the recesses with Gore-grunta Fur . I like to put a blob on my wet pallette, thinning it and making it easier to control.
3. Deep shade with fine lines of 1:1 Doombull Brown & Abaddon Black .
4. Mix some Vallejo Model Air Silver RLM01 Metallic into your base colour and apply edge highlights.
5. Finish with small highlights of Vallejo Model Air Silver RLM01 Metallic .

Weapon Casing

1. Basecoat with 1:1 Leadbelcher & Warplock Bronze .
   Shade: Black Ink (recommend Liquitex Carbon Black)
   Highlight: Stormhost Silver
2. Shade with Gore-grunta Fur . I like to put a blob on my wet pallette, thinning it and making it easier to control.
3. Mix a little Black into your Gore-grunta Fur and deep shade the recesses with thin lines.
4. Mix some Vallejo Model Air Silver RLM01 Metallic into your base colour and and apply edge highlights.
5. Finish with small highlights of Vallejo Model Air Silver RLM01 Metallic .

Steel

1. Basecoat with Ironbreaker .
2. Wash with Nuln Oil .
3. Shade the recesses with some Agrax Earthshade , to add some interest.
4. Finish with edge highlights of Vallejo Model Air Silver RLM01 Metallic .

White Hair

1. Basecoat with 1:1 Administratum Grey & White .
2. Shade recesses and the underside of the hair with Administratum Grey . Keep it thin and consider a few coats to build up colour.
3. Where you want some extra contrast, carefully deep shade with thin Dawnstone .
4. Finally highlight with White .

Black Leather

1. Basecoat with 1:1 Dryad Bark & Abaddon Black .
2. Shade recesses with thin Abaddon Black .
3. Glaze highlight with Dryad Bark .
4. Add fine highlights with Stormvermin Fur .
5. Selectively highlight with 1:1 Stormvermin Fur & Deepkin Flesh .
6. Finish with small highlights of Deepkin Flesh .

Caucasian Skin

1. Basecoat with an equal parts mix of Cadian Fleshtone , Kislev Flesh and White Scar .
2. Wash with Reikland Fleshshade .
3. If any points need extra shading, I would recommend using some thing Doombull Brown .
4. Re-establish the basecoat where needed, then mix increasing amounts of White Scar into it, highlighting up raised points.

Cream Sleeve

1. Basecoat with Screaming Skull .
2. Mix Tau Light Ochre slowly into your Screaming Skull and add shading.
3. Glaze highlight with 1:1 Screaming Skull and White .
4. Finish with highlights of White .
