Undead Skin
- Basecoat with 2:1 Rakarth Flesh and Pallid Wych Flesh /.
- Mix a small amount of Barak-Nar Burgundy into your basecolour and add geral shading to all of the skin. I would recommend thinning this paint with Lahmian Medium , to add transparency and make it easier to layer.
- Increase the amount of Barak-Nar Burgundy in the mix, so it is roughly 1:1 with the base colour. Now shade the skin again, being more selective. Focus more on recesses and downward facing skin.
- With a fine line of pure Barak-Nar Burgundy , shade the deepest part of the recess. Rin this around wherever the skin meets other materials.
- Now is a good time to paint the eyes and a few other key details on the face. I picked out the eyeballs with :Citadel/AverlandSunset, then added a dot of Ice Yellow . Paint inside the mouth with a mix of Black , Barak-Nar Burgundy and Khorne Red . Pick out the teeth with Ushabti Bone and finish with a Wraithbone highlight.
- Mix some 1:2 Rakarth Flesh and Pallid Wych Flesh /, so it is slightly lighter than the base mix. No highlight the skin.
- Selectively highlight with pure Pallid Wych Flesh .
- Finish with very small/specular White highlights.
I followed these same steps for the green tinged skin. Everything was the same, apart from I used Nocturne Green in the shading, instead of Barak-Nar Burgundy .
