How I paint my wood elves

Undercoat

1. Spray with White Scar

Base Coats

1. Paint all the green cloth areas with Creed Camo
2. Paint all of the tan cloth areas with Aggaros Dunes
3. Paint the skin with a 1:1 mix of Guilliman Flesh and Contrast Medium
4. Paint the wooden areas with Wyldwood
5. Paint leather areas with Garaghak's Sewer and/or Gore-grunta Fur . Mix these up to create variety.
6. Paint the hair with Skeleton Horde
7. Paint the shafts of any arrows with Snakebite Leather
8. Paint the fletching of arrows with a variety of different colours
9. Paint any steel areas with Iron Hands Steel , and any gold areas with Retributor Armour . Wash these areas with a 1:1 mix of Coelia Greenshade and Lahmian Medium , and Reikland Fleshshade respectively.
10. Paint any spites with Aethermatic Blue

Layers

1. Note: to save time, only layer larger areas that are easy to see, as well as the flesh.
2. Layer the green cloth with Waaagh! Flesh
3. Layer the tan cloth areas with Tallarn Sand
4. Layer the skin with Flayed One Flesh
5. Layer the steel with Iron Hands Steel and the gold with Retributor Armour

Highlights

1. Highlight the green cloth with Straken Green and (optionally) Nurgling Green
2. Highlight the tan cloth with Karak Stone
3. Highlight the skin with Pallid Wych Flesh
4. Highlight the wooden areas with Gorthor Brown
5. Highlight the Garaghak's Sewer with Skrag Brown and/or the Gore-grunta Fur with Deathclaw Brown
6. Highlight the hair with Ushabti Bone and (optionally) Screaming Skull
7. Highlight the steel areas with Stormhost Silver and the gold with Liberator Gold with an optional highlight of Stormhost Silver
8. Highlight the spites with Ulthuan Grey
