Quick recipe (my simplified version) for 'How to paint faces on a miniature. Light skin tones' by Games Workshop Miniatures Designer and former 'Eavy Metal figure painter Darren Latham.

  1. Chaos Black
  2. 2-4 layers of thin Bugman's Glow
  3. 50/50 Bugman's Glow & Cadian Fleshtone over all but the most recessed areas.
  4. Watered down Tuskgor Fur into recessed areas.
  5. Watered down Doombull Brown into recessed areas.
  6. Cadian Fleshtone highlight all rased areas.
  7. 50/50 Cadian Fleshtone & Kislev Flesh
  8. Kislev Flesh on highest details, nose, ears and eyebrows
  9. Pallid Wych Flesh eyes
  10. Pupil, anything dark, I mixed Abaddon Black into the remaining Pallid Wych Flesh for a very dark grey.
  11. Watered down Tuskgor Fur around the whites of the eyes to clean them up, 2-3 washes may be needed.
  12. Entire head given a single wash of Reikland Fleshshade
