1. Bronze (exhaust and meltagun): Warplock Bronze , wash Agrax Earthshade , layer Brass Scorpion , Runelord Brass
2. Bone & skulls: Zandri Dust , wash Nuln Oil , Screaming Skull
3. Cockpit window: Stormhost Silver , then Waystone Green
4. Chest and eye glow: thinned Fire Dragon Bright

Weathering

1. Soot on exhausts: stippled Abaddon Black like as if drybrushing
2. Sponge chipping on armour with Wazdakka Red or Eshin Grey as appropriate
3. Same with scratches, especially on decals
4. Rust on metallics: thinned down Skrag Brown
5. Verdigris on bronze: undiluted Nihilakh Oxide

Base

1. Add thin layer of Astrogranite , leaving small craters for pools of blood
2. Wash with Agrax Earthshade
3. Drybrush with Tyrant Skull
4. Add pools of blood with Blood For The Blood God in craters
5. Paint rim black with Abaddon Black

Surface Finish

1. Varnish everything with 1:1 mix of Contrast Medium : Ultra Matte Varnish
2. Varnish metallic parts, lenses, screens, plasma glow with 3:1 mix of Glossy Varnish : Ultra Matte Varnish
