Black Cloth

  1. Basecoat with Black .
  2. Highlight folds and edges with Incubi Darkness . I applied these as a mix of glazes and scrathy lines, leaving room within them for future highlights.
  3. Apply fine highlights with 2:1
  4. Increase the amount of Deepkin Flesh in the mix and selectively highlight. We are looking at a ratio of roughly 1:2 Incubi Darkness and Deepkin Flesh here.
  5. Finish with a few specular Deepkin Flesh highlights.

Blue- Grey Trousers

  1. Basecoat with 1:1 Stormvermin Fur and Dark Reaper .
  2. Shade with 1:1 Rhinox Hide and Kantor Blue . You can be quite generous here. I went over and shaded recesses, then went over it again, glazing inner thighs and any even shilghtly shaded parts.
  3. Add highlights of 1:1 Dark Reaper and Stormvermin Fur .
  4. Apply selective hioghlights of 1:1 Dawnstone and Screaming Skull .
  5. Finsish with specular Screaming Skull highlights.

Burgundy Hood

  1. Basecoat with Khorne Red .
  2. Shade recesses with some thinned Gal Vorbak Red .
  3. Highlight with 1:1 Khorne Red and Pink Horror .
  4. Add fine highlights of 1:1 Pink Horror and Screaming Skull .
  5. Highlight more selectively with Screaming Skull . I applied these with a mix of traditional edge highlights and a series of small dots in relevant areas, to add texture.

Tan Leather

  1. Basecoat with Steel Legion Drab .
  2. Mix in some Rhinox Hide for shading.
  3. Highlight with Karak Stone .
  4. Highlight more selectively with 1:1 Karak Stone and Wraithbone .
  5. Finish with specular Wraithbone highlights.

Bandages

  1. Basecoat with Steel Legion Drab .
  2. Shade between the wrapping with thinned Rhinox Hide and a thin brush.
  3. Glaze raised areas with Karak Stone , dragging your brush upwards.
  4. Edge highlight wrappings with Ushabti Bone .
  5. More selectively highlight with Screaming Skull .
  6. Mix some White into your Screaming Skull and highlight a little smaller.

I used the same recipe for the face mask, but the smooth open area leaves more room for highlighting, and it appears lighter.

Dark Brown Leather

  1. Basecoat with Rhinox Hide .
  2. Highlight with Doombull Brown .
  3. Highlight more selectively with XV-88 .
  4. Finish with a few specular Screaming Skull highlights.
