Priming

1. Prime however you want. I use a vallejo gloss black primer through the airbrush to get the best results for later airbrushing metallics

Gold Armour

1. Paint armour with Gold through the airbrush, but you could also use a 1:1 mix of Iron Warriors / Liberator Gold and apply this to with your brush
2. Wash armour with diluted Agrax Earthshade
3. Shade armour with diluted Dryad Bark
4. Drybrush armour with Runefang Steel

Black Cloth

1. Paint black cloth with Abaddon Black or Black Legion

Red Cloth

1. Paint red cloth with 1:1 mix of Khorne Red / Charred Brown
2. Wash red cloth with Carroburg Crimson

Weapon

1. Paint steel with Leadbelcher
2. Wash steel with Drakenhof Nightshade , pulling the colours into the recesses for the highest contrast
3. Add Agrax Earthshade to edges of the steel
4. Highlight steel with Runefang Steel
5. Paint shaft with Black Legion
