- Prime Hyrax Brown
- Overbrush Dwarven Gold , then do a light drybrush of Moonstone Alchemy
- Block in all hair, hooves and skin with Inktense Black
- Lightly drybrush the hair braid and hooves with Ironclad Grey , then lighten the grey with a touch of Decomposed Flesh and use this as a fine drybrush highlight.
- For the skin I just highlighted with Dark Reaper and left it there.
- Using a White (I alternate between a white mig oilbrusher and bold titanium white by pro acryl depending on where I'm using them), fill in any recesses or gems that will be blue. These are then washed with Aethermatic Blue
- For any white cloth, I just basecoated with Pro Acryl white, washed with thinned Soulblight Grey , then rehighlighted with Pro Acryl White.
- For any purple cloth, I just basecoated with Sunset Purple , then used increasing amounts of Decomposed Flesh to highlight it.
- Base rims are Banshee Brown ; scatter is Rival Crafts Forest Floor.
