As a beginner, I know that there are two kinds of recipes for paint jobs: long over complicated ones (that require a lot of paints), and short recipes that never get seen, but are useful for beginners (I know there are more kinds than these). I am playing Blood Angels, and this is an easy tutorial for the armor of that specific chapter, but you can still use the ideas and strategies to paint your own army.

(Also includes the under armor for Space Marines.)

Armor

1. Base coat with Khorne Red .
2. Next few coats with Mephiston Red , be sure to paint a little less thoroughly.
3. Do edge highlights with Evil Sunz Scarlet .
4. Do recess shading with Khorne Red . (Optional)
5. Do the rest of the shading with Nuln Oil .

Under Armor (Optional)

1. Base coat using Abaddon Black .
2. Edge highlights with a dark grey, preferably Incubi Darkness .

See? Easy and simple.
