- Prime with Vallejo black primer via airbrush
- Spray aggressive zenithal (all the way to horizontal) with Vallejo Model Air Sea Grey. This paint is not listed in this app, so I'm using Dark Sea Grey in its place. Dark Sea Grey
- Paint weapons, various hoses, eye lenses, and exposed bodyglove with Abaddon Black
- Mix Iron Warriors with Balthasar Gold , somewhat unevenly for variation. Paint all metallic trim.
- Drybrush entire model with Stormhost Silver . Take it easy on the metallics and the shoulder pads.
- Touch up the metallics if the drybrush lightened them up too much.
- Mix Nuln Oil with Contrast Medium until it "feels right" (Maybe 1:3?). Apply to entire model.
- Tiny lines of Stormhost Silver on the eye lenses.
- Dryad Bark on leather & belts. Wash with Agrax Earthshade .
- Chainmail with Leadbelcher and P3 Armor Wash. Nuln Oil is okay, too, but not as good at contrasting with the rest of the gray armor.
- Cloth with Genestealer Purple , wash with Druchii Violet , mix white ink with Genestealer Purple for highlights if necessary.
- Base with Stirland Mud . Allow ample time to dry. Wash with Agrax Earthshade . Allow ample time to dry.
- Paint rim with Abaddon Black .
- Water down some Elmer's glue just a bit, and use it to attach forest green, bushy flock. Allow ample time to dry.
- Thin 1:1 Vallejo Matte Varnish with Airbrush Thinner and thoroughly coat.
