Some simple steps to painting some dark buildings

Stonework

1. Prime Chaos Black
2. Basecoat entire model in Stormvermin Fur
3. Paint stone work Incubi Darkness
4. Wash entire model in Nuln Oil
5. Thin Rhinox Hide with some water or Lahmian Medium and recess shade the bricks.
6. Use Rhinox Hide on all the wooden areas including door panels.
7. Any larger stone work can be drybrushed with Stormvermin Fur to highlight it.
8. Drybrush Dawnstone over everything

Roof

1. Cover the roof tiles with Nihilakh Oxide
2. Mix Rhinox Hide with Lahmian Medium and wash it over the tiles, however wipe away the excess to leave the mix only in the recesses.
