  1. Basecoat all of the skin with Khorne Red .
  2. Sketch in large highlights with Mephiston Red , aiming for the areas where light would naturally hit. This step can also be done with an airbrush if you own one.
  3. Wash all of the skin with Carroburg Crimson .
  4. Recess shade deep areas where muscle groups meet. For this I use Vallejo Game Ink Violet , mixed with Lahmian Medium .
  5. Re-establish the highlights from the second step by glazing Mephiston Red over most of the same area.
  6. Add a highlight of Mephiston Red and Kislev Flesh mixed 1:1.
  7. Add fine highlights selectively with Kislev Flesh .
  8. Apply dot highlights of Kislev Flesh and Ionrach Skin mixed 1:1. Add this mix to points, converging highlights and the center of the fine highlights from the last step.
