Highlights should have less water the lighter you go. Paint should still flow off the brush evenly
- Thinner highight Thunderhawk Blue
This should fit somewhat within the previous layer. The next step is what is mostly visible, and gives the most definition
- Thin highlight on sharp edges Pastel Blue + Thunderhawk Blue 1:2
- Tidy up Black
Red Cloaks
- Basecoat Khorne Red
- Broad highlight Khorne Red + Evil Sunz Scarlet 2:1
- Thinner highlight Khorne Red + Evil Sunz Scarlet 1:1
- Thinner highlight Evil Sunz Scarlet
- Lines along sharp cloak edges Light Rust + Evil Sunz Scarlet 1:1
- Glaze shadows back Khorne Red + Abaddon Black 1:1 and Glaze Medium to your preffered glazing consistency
Green
- Basecoat Caliban Green
- Highlight Dark Green
- Edge highlight Dark Green + Pastel Blue 2:1
White
- Basecoat Ash Grey
- Highlight Ash Grey + Pastel Blue 1:1
- Edge highlight Ash Grey + Pastel Blue 1:3
- Glaze Nighthaunt Gloom on magical areas such as wings
Metallics
- Basecoat Gold Retributor Armour
- Basecoat Silver Iron Hands Steel
- Shade Gold Guilliman Flesh
- Shade Silver Nuln Oil
Skin
No ratios for this, as skin varies a lot and smooth transitions are pretty important. Just go with what looks nice
- Basecoat Word Bearers Red
- Mix in Cadian Fleshtone and highlight up
- Shade Shadow Flesh -29- and Glaze Medium
- Flood eyes Intense Blue
- Highlight skin again with Cadian Fleshtone + Light Flesh
- Highlight eyes Pastel Blue
Fire
Dont wash your drybrush between steps, and cover less area with each step getting further away from the flame source.

- Drybrush Light Rust + Volcanic Yellow
