Section Two - Basecoating

1. Spray undercoat Chaos Black .
2. Using a small drybrush, basecoat the entire model Leadbelcher .
3. Using a starter brush, basecoat the black parts of the gauss flayer, tubing and chest cartouche with two/three thin coats of Abaddon Black until you have a smooth solid colour.
4. Using a starter brush, basecoat the armour plating with two/three thin coats of Runelord Brass until you have a smooth solid colour.
5. Using a starter brush, basecoat the shoulder guards and face with a 1:1 mix of Leadbelcher and Runefang Steel until you have a smooth solid colour.

Section Three - Shading

1. Using a glaze brush, shade the under-skeleton with one thick coat of Basilicanum Grey , making sure the paint doesn't pool too much.
2. Using a glaze brush, shade the armour plating with a 1:1 mix of Agrax Earthshade and Reikland Fleshshade .
3. Using a glaze brush, shade the shoulder guards and face with Reikland Fleshshade .
4. Using a glaze brush, shade the silver parts of the gauss flayer Nuln Oil .

Section Four - Detailing

1. Using a glaze brush, basecoat the glowing green energy with Corax White .
2. Using a glaze brush, glaze the glowing green energy with Tesseract Glow .
3. Using a glaze brush, shade the glowing green energy with Striking Scorpion Green .
4. Using a glaze brush, paint the icon on the chest cartouche, and any exposed wiring with Leadbelcher .

Section Four - Basing

1. Using a texture tool, carefully apply Astrogranite to the top of the base.
2. Using a starter brush, basecoat any rocks with two/three thin coats of Rakarth Flesh until you have a smooth solid colour.
3. Using a starter brush, shade the base and any rocks Basilicanum Grey .
4. Using a small drybrush, drybrush the top of the base Rakarth Flesh .
5. Using a starter brush, paint the edge of the base with two/three thin coats of Abaddon Black .
