Using pure Cadian Fleshtone layer over all muscle parts as shown by the zenithal highlight
Water down the Doombull Brown and glaze this into the shadows and recess of the skin again using the priming phase as a guide.
Mix 50:50 Doombull Brown and Cadian Fleshtone and reduce any harsh transitions. I only do this on the muscle and skin facing the viewer and anything below the horizon i leave doombull.
Darken the recesses again with firstly Darkoath Flesh followed by thinned Rhinox Hide or Wyldwood
This next step is the highlighting I like to do this on a single model at a time and use different amounts of Pale Sand to create some variation in the final skin tone.
Using Pale Sand mix this into Cadian Fleshtone initially, 50:50 then add more to eye and to create variations between the skin tones.
Cloth
Wash all over the cloth with Skeleton Horde or Seraphim Sepia used to create variation.
Highlight the cloth with Zandri Dust as a thick layer
Add some Pale Sand into the Zandri Dust and highlight (50:50)
Add more again 75:25 Pale Sand : Zandri Dust
Using the Wyldwood or thinned Rhinox Hide from the skin step and use this in the deepest recesses on the cloth and to create definition between some of the fold.s
Jade Weapons and Stones etc
Glaze using Jade Green to create tranisitions
Highlight by add a dot of Sybarite Green into the Jade and glaze the very top as highlights.
For the weapons I edge in Sybarite Green and then dot with Gauss Blaster Green (I think I just added White or Pale Sand into the Sybarite Green which works too.
Metals
Paint gold with Necro Gold
Paint silver with Black Metal
Wash both with thinned 1:1 Coelia Greenshade and Lahmian Medium
Wash silver with black/thinned brown wash until dirty and dulled
Highlight gold areas with Peridot Alchemy and a second highlight of Citrine Alchemy
Highlight silver with Chain Mail Silver and then final highlights of Heavy Metal
Brown and Black
This is a simple step as I use one or two colours and just mix to get the highlights. I don't worry much as I've found darker highlights here work really well when varnishing at the end.
To highlight the Brown i add in Gobi Brown to the Rhinox Hide to get my base highlights adding in Pale Sand to get the contrast up if needed.
Black I add Pale Sand to the Black to get greys and use these
Varnish
Varnish with AK Interactive Matt Varnish.
Apply some Satin Varnish on the metals if you prefer that look.
