- Cut cardboard out and stack into a stone shape
- Glue all cardboard using PVA glue + water (1:1)
- Cover the entire terrain in a blend of filler + PVA + water + sand (3:2:1:?)
- Glue large rocks and boulders in to place with PVA, and sprinkle sand/rock mix on all upward facing surfaces.
- Heavily spray the entire terrain with a PVA + Water mix (1:2) through a cheap spray bottle to fix the small sand and rocks in place
- Basecoat the entire terrain darkbrown + PVA (3:1)
- Overbrush with midtone burnt umber
- Drybrush with an light ochre / offwhite
- *optional: Spray matt varnish over the entire terrain to further protect it
