Here's how I freehand flames on my Salamanders

I'm still relatively new to miniature painting, only have a couple years under my belt. As my username suggests, I am a very lazy painter and usually like to avoid any tedious work, like edge highlighting, but I'm working on it. I play Salamanders, Death Skulls, and my own custom Alpha Legion-based warband called the Fangs of the Shadow in 40k, and Imperial Fists in The Horus Heresy.
