Primer

1. Prime using Chaos Black

Reference

1. Take a picture of your primed model under neutral white lighting. Position the light to your preference (I usually imagine the sun at around 2:00 PM). Keep in mind that the closer the light source is to your model, the stronger and sharper the highlights and shadows will appear.

Greaves, Plate, Shoulders

1. OPTION 1 : NMM using (from the darkest to the lightest tones):
   - On the whole parts, 1:1 MIX of Khorne Red and Rhinox Hide
   - On large parts, leave some dark areas from previous step, Mephiston Red
   - On smaller areas from previous step, 2:1 MIX of Mephiston Red and White Scar (slightly lighter red)
   - On smaller areas from previous step and edges, 1:1 MIX of Mephiston Red and White Scar (rose)
   - On the very brightest edges from your reference, White Scar
2. OPTION 2 : NMM using (from the darkest to the lightest tones):
   - On the whole parts, 1:1 MIX of Khorne Red and Rhinox Hide
   - On smaller areas from previous step, Mephiston Red
   - On smaller areas from previous step, Evil Sunz Scarlet
   - On smaller areas from previous step and edges, Wild Rider Red
   - On edges, Fire Dragon Bright
   - On the very brightest edges from your reference, White Scar
