- Prime with Mechanicus Standard Grey
Basecoats
- Basecoat body fur with Death Reaper and hands/tail with Wizard Grey
- Layer body fur with an overbrush of Dungeon Stone Grey and Wizard Grey
- Layer hands/tail with overbrush of Carcharodon Grey
- Basecoat lower robes with Scorched Earth
- Basecoat upper robes with Fury Green
- Basecoat wood with Skeleton Horde
- Basecoat warpstone with either Kabalite Green / Jade Green or Talisman Green depending on type
- Basecoat metal bits with Steampunk Copper or Sir Coates Silver depending
- Basecoat book with Sigvald Burgundy and clasps with Steampunk Copper
Shades
- Shade the fir and hands/tail with a 3:1 mix of Contrast Medium and Black Templar
- Shade robes, wood, and metals with Agrax Earthshade be careful to avoid pooling
- Shade warpstone with 1:1 mix of Contrast Medium and Warp Lightning
Re-Layer
- Relayer robes with Scorched Earth and Fury Green respectively leaving recesses intact
- Relayer wood with Skeleton Horde leaving recesses. Almost a drybrush.
- Base teeth and claws with Skeleton Horde
- Layer boils and sores with Zamesi Desert
Highlights
- Highlight green robes with Gung-ho Green on raised areas and Green Beret on edges
- Edge highlight brown robes with Ancient Forest
- Edge highlight book with Sword Hilt Burgundy
- Edge highlight any exposed fur with either Dungeon Stone Grey or Carcharodon Grey as necessary
- Highlight teeth with Trooper White
- Highlight eyes with Zamesi Desert
- Highlight warpstone (dark) with Sybarite Green or Ghoul Green
- Highlight warpstone (bright) with Talisman Green then Dorn Yellow
- Highlight wood and sores/boils with Vampire Fang
- Highlight metals with Plate Armour
Other
- Shade copper metals with bits of Nihilakh Oxide
Smoke
- Layer smoke with Carcharodon Grey
- Wash with a 2:1 mix of Lahmian Medium and Warp Lightning
- Wash the lower parts of the smoke and censors with a second layer of the above
- Drybrush top half of smoke with Carcharodon Grey then Trooper White
- Layer thin Trooper White to even out look of smoke
- Wash all of the smoke with a 5:1 mix of Casandora Yellow and Warp Lightning
- Note: For dark smoke, layer up from Daemonette Hide at the base to Death Reaper at the top. Then fill creases with Trooper White and was the whole thing with 2:1 mix of Contrast Medium and Warp Lightning
Bases
- Basecoat with Wolf Grey
- Wash with Drakenhof Nightshade
- Wetbrush with Gravestone Blue
- Drybrush with a mix of Gravestone Blue and Skeleton Legion
- Wash with Coelia Greenshade
- Paint rim with Incubi Darkness or Hydra Green
