Preparation

1. Prime with Chaos Black
2. Zenithal highlight with Grey Seer
3. Not sure the zenithal highlight made any difference at all so it might be possible to skip it.

Carapace

1. Basecoat with Kantor Blue
2. All over wash with Druchii Violet
3. Layer with Kantor Blue
4. Highlight with Altdorf Guard Blue
5. Layer the parts of the carapace that wouldn't catch the light with Incubi Darkness
6. Highlight the lower parts of the carapace with Kabalite Green

Wings

1. Basecoat with Ionrach Skin
2. Light dry brush with Deepkin Flesh
3. Wash all over with a 1:1 mix of Casandora Yellow and Lahmian Medium
4. Wash the lower half of the wing with Casandora Yellow
5. Wash and dot the lower edge of the wing with Iyanden Yellow

Claws

1. Basecoat with Abaddon Black
2. Highlight with Mechanicus Standard Grey

Eyes

1. Run Nuln Oil in to the sockets
2. Paint the eyes with Flash Gitz Yellow
