Core recipe used on my Flesh Eater Courts army. Underpainting first to get battle ready with colourful minis. Then painting the flesh tones to desaturate everything.

Flesh

1. Pastel Pink zenithalled from above. Just the focal area (face, wings, banner, weapon, etc) and any metallic surfaces. (Volume sketching, but with hue).
2. Ocean Blue from below. Preshading the darkest shadows as a blue, and any fabric.

Other stuff

1. Anthracite Grey on stone. Blocking out some general tones on the models.
2. Graphite gently drybrushed over stone. (Now these are battle-ready with 4 colour minimum)!
3. Red from above. Setting a warmer base tone.
4. Purple from above. Aimed at the lower half of the mini and eyes. Setting a cooler base tone.
5. Tenebrous Grey on hair and fur. Setting a dark tone.
