First Steps

1. Prime Chaos Black .
2. Spray with Mephiston Red - this can be partially zenithal if wanted, but should be fairly thorough as the red is the main colour of the cloth. Sadly the in-pot version is a brighter colour so mistakes later will be harder to clean up neatly than ideal.
3. Basecoat the armour with Retributor Armour .
4. Shade the entire model with Druchii Violet .

Details

1. Paint in the belts, eye-hole, and leatherwork such as gloves and boot tops in Black Templar .
2. Paint in any steel such as the blades of weapons in Leadbelcher .
3. Apply Dryad Bark to any wooden sections such as hafts of weapons.
4. Paint the boots in Wyldwood .
