I used the 'Trisha, the Fiery Sorceress' model from Signum Games for this colour scheme. I have always been a fan of the Witcher and the opportunity to paint my own interpretation of Triss was too good to turn down. You can get your own copy of 'Trisha' here:

Red Hair

  1. Basecoat with a 4:1 of Troll Slayer Orange & Squig Orange .
  2. Add some Khorne Red into your base mix, water it down and shade the sculted recesses in the hair.
  3. Where is it darticuarly deep, mix a little Abaddon Black in and shade selectively.
  4. Pic out the strands of hair as neatly as you can, with a thin line of Fire Dragon Bright .
  5. Mix the Fire Dragon Bright 1:1 with Flash Gitz Yellow and paint a halo of light around the top of her head and on any prominent curls. Keep these highlights within the last stages highlights.
  6. Mix in some White Scar into the above mix and highlight an even smaller area.

Turquoise Cloth

  1. Basecoat with a 1:1 mix of Sotek Green & Kabalite Green .
    Wash: Drakenhof Nightshade
Layer: Sotek Green, Kabalite Green & Blue Horro
  2. Wash with Drakenhof Nightshade .
  3. Pick out edges with an equal parts mix of Sotek Green , Kabalite Green and Blue Horror .
  4. Pick out specular highlights with small dots of Blue Horror . I limited this to the little bead things only.

Red Gloves

  1. Basecoat with 1:1 Khorne Red and Doombull Brown .
  2. Mix some Jokaero Orange into the base mix and apply chunky highlights to raised folds.
  3. Selectively highlight within the last stage, using thin lines of pure Jokaero Orange .
  4. Finally ass very small highlights of Ushabti Bone .

Tan Leather Top

  1. Basecoat with a 1:1 mix of Zamesi Desert and Ushabti Bone .
  2. Wash with Seraphim Sepia .
  3. Edge highlight with Ushabti Bone .
  4. Selectively highlight with Screaming Skull .
  5. On upward facing curves and points add speuclar/very small highlights of Wraithbone or even White Scar .

Black Trousers

  1. Basecoat with Abaddon Black .
  2. Glaze highlights of 1:1 Abaddon Black and Skavenblight Dinge towards knees or similar exposed areas.
  3. Chunky highlights with Skavenblight Dinge .
  4. Finfe edge highlights with Stormvermin Fur .
  5. Selective highlights of Karak Stone .

Dark Brown Leather (Boots)

  1. Basecoat with Abaddon Black and Karak Stone in a 3:1 ratio.
Highlight: Basecoat mix & Karak Stone
    Highlight: Karak Stone
    Dot Highlight: Screaming Skul with
  2. Add more :karak stone and pick out folds.
  3. add fine highlights of pure Karak Stone .
  4. Finally, mix Screaming Skull (or an off-white of your choice) into the Karak Stone and add small/dot highlights where needed.

Red Leather (Boots)

  1. Basecoat with 1:1 Khorne Red and Doombull Brown .
  2. Chunky highlight edges with Doombull Brown .
  3. Add finer highlights of 1:1 Doombull Brown and Fire Dragon Bright .
  4. Add Screaming Skull to the mix from the last highlight, and selectively highlight corners and prominant curves.
  5. Finish off with specular highlights of Screaming Skull , if you wish.

Red Cape Lining

  1. Basecoat with a 2:1 mix of Khorne Red and Abaddon Black .
  2. Add more Abaddon Black to the base mix, then glaze shading into recesses.
  3. Add chunky highlights of Khorne Red to edges and raised folds.
  4. Mix the Khorne Red 2:1 with Ushabti Bone and apply a finer highlights.
  5. Increase the amount of Ushabti Bone , so it is roughly 1:2 and then selectively highlight everything again.

Dark Brown Leather

  1. Basecoat the leather area with Rhinox Hide .
  2. Glaze most of the leather with thinned Mournfang Brown . Use quite a small brush and drag towards edges in rough lines. This should create some extra texture.
  3. Add a chunky edge highlight of Skrag Brown to all edges.
  4. Highlight everything again, this time with a fine line of Skrag Brown and Ushabti Bone mixed 1:1. This is a good mix to throw in occasional fine lines as scratches
  5. With pure Ushabti Bone , selectively highlight corners and exposed edges of the leather. Put a dot of this colour where the additional scratched above meet edges too.
  6. Add a little pure white (like Dead White ) to your Ushabti Bone and add dot highlights to corners.
