  1. Prime with a zenithal highlight.
  2. Apply a glazed of Walnut as an undercoat. This will only appear as chipping.
  3. Apply a coat of Vallejo Chipping Medium all over the models.
  4. Airbrush a complete coat of Ochre 3 on the model as a basecoat. Highlight with a 1:1 mix of Ochre 3 and Ochre 2 , and then pure Ochre 2 .
  5. Allow the airbrushing to dry. Wet the paint with water and rub and poke it with a toothpick to activate the Chipping Medium. Focus on edges of armor and little scratches/dings.
  6. Apply a varnish to them to seal the chipping medium and prevent further chipping.
  7. Thing Agrax Earthshade with Lahmian Medium and apply it to the joints and crevices in the armor.
  8. Highlight the chips and armor edges with Ochre 2 .
  9. Paint the eye sockets with a 1:1 mix of Huldra Blue and Decay Black , ensuring that you leave the slit unpainted.
  10. Paint the pattern on the droid according to their pattern. Standard security droids have red along their shoulders and on the stomach; command droids have a yellow circle on their chest and head.
