Don't follow this for now, this is just my note keeping but I will update it later :)

Base Green

The goal here is to get a nice consistent highlighted green on all the armor

  1. Prime black using Molotow black marker refill or Black
  2. Paint whole model using thinned Unforgiven Green with airbrush, in 2 think coats
  3. Airbrush highlight on the armor in 2 passes of thinned Ruinous Spell
  4. Airbrush highlight with thinned Exile Green trying to stay within the previous highlights
  5. Final airbrush highlight from top down very selectively with Leviathan Light

Block-in main colours

  1. Paint black areas and weapons with German Grey
  2. Block in main metallic with Exhaust Manifold
  3. Block in gold/brass/bronze with Decayed Metal
  4. Darken blacks with 3:1 :Citadel/ContrastMedium Basilicanum Grey
  5. Use the same paint to glaze in main shading on flat areas like sergeant shoulder pads or black kneepads

Base

Paint most of the base now while it's still fairly easy to cleanup anything that gets on the model

  1. Paint the sandy area of the base with Zandri Dust
  2. Paint any rocks with German Field Grey and stipple on some Rhinox Hide with a Drybrushes while the grey is still wet
  3. Drybrush the sand with Ushabti Bone
  4. Paint the rim with Steel Legion Drab. This will be tidied up at the end

Weathering

  1. Paint chipping in on the green using the green colors already used then deeper chips with Burnt Umber
  2. Paint chips on the blacks with Black Metal, Thrash Metal and Burnt Umber
  3. 2 Passes of oil wash with raw umber artist oil paint mixed with sans odor thinner, focusing on rivets and streaks
